The Muncher of Souls!! (魂を喰う男!!, Tamashī o kū otoko!!) is the 21st chapter of the YuYu Hakusho manga, written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi.
Summary[]
Goki kept attacking Yusuke and had defeated him, but before he was able to finish him, Goki heard a group of people approaching and decided to leave. Yusuke then woke up at his home and got scolded by his mom. He realized Botan had brought him home and she explained she used a special compass to locate him. They then heard on the news that some kids got into a mysterious coma and Yusuke realized that was Goki's doing. Botan gave him a special item that can strengthen his Rei Gun and Yusuke took the special compass and went out looking for Goki.
Yusuke found Goki, who had just taken the soul of another child. They went somewhere out of peoples eyes and Goki transformed again. Yusuke tried fighting him, but his attacks had no effect on his body. Goki started beating Yusuke, but then a kid appeared and Goki went after the kid and took his soul. Goki then went back at Yusuke and tried to eat his soul, but Yusuke put a wound in his mouth preventing it from closing and shot his Rein Gun in his mouth and defeated Goki, who then released the souls he had eaten. Yusuke then took the soul sucking item and left.
